Installation Requirements
- Mac OS 9 requires 9.1 or greater
- Mac OS X requires 10.1 or greater
- 32 MB RAM
- 10 MB Hard drive space (additional space required as mail accumulates)
- TCP/IP network over Ethernet
- Open Transport 1.2 or greater
- Full-time or dial-on-demand Internet connection for Internet mail transfer

Installation and Upgrading Instructions
- Before installing, we strongly recommend backing up your QuickMail Pro Server
folder.
- Before installing, you must quit the QuickMail Pro Server.
- Before installing, we recommend restarting your computer with all
virus-detection software disabled.
- If you are upgrading from an earlier version of the server and do not want to
move your data, you should choose your existing QuickMail Pro Server Folder when
prompted during the installation process.

Launching QuickMail Pro Server at login running OS X
1) Open the System Preferences application.
2) Click on the Login pane.
3) Drag QuickMail Pro Server to the list in the Login Items tab.

What's New in 3.0
- QuickMail Pro Server 3.0 is carbonized for Mac OS X.
- The server generated address book is now dynamically created and updated when
the administrator adds or changes user accounts.  Users are then notified of new
address books when they log in.
- Additional address books can be created by a QuickMail Pro client and moved to
the server for automatic distribution.
- Improved speed and reliability.
- A new SMTP authorization feature prevents relaying by unauthorized users.
- Plus many other fixes and improvements.
