Version 1.0.9 (June 15, 2009 - build 90501.15.56)
New Features:
- Mail Filters. Also known as Rules.
- Can set text and background color of individual messages (manually or by a Mail Filter).
- Ability to abort any operation, including the sending of messages.
Enhancements:
- Slight modifications to improve the interface. (Folder pane, Brain panel. Toolbars).
- Now displays the "special-folder" icons in the Mailbox column.
- Headers are displayed in Lucida and with the font size set in prefs for the message. Changes in prefs are reflected immediately. Cmd +/- adjusts the headers too, not just the message.
- Added a shortcut for Delete Immediately by pressing the option-key while clicking the Delete button.
- Attachments form an original message are not sent with Replies anymore. Only the attachment's name will appears in the reply.
- Improved the progress indicator in the Status bar.
- Improved the Junk Mail classification process.
- The Outspring Mail folder (~/Library/Application Support) can now be moved to a new location and replaced with an Alias.
- Messages Read and Junk Status are now correctly updated when accessing a mailbox with several Email Clients (IMAP only).
- A message moved to the Junk Folder will not be deleted from the POP server (when the option "Leave Messages on Server until they are removed from the Inbox" is set).
- Will now print the list of attachments when printing a message.
- Added code to prevent inadvertently moving a window offscreen.
- Now doesn't force the user to save their password to the keychain by default.
- You can now use email addresses without domain. The domain of the identity of the current account is used as default domain.
- Opening an attachment now saves it to the Downloads Folder rather than the Desktop. Manually saving an attachment will recall the previous location (Downloads folder by default)

Bug fixes:
- Fixed a bug whereby repeatedly saving a composed document created multiple draft messages instead of successively replacing the existing one.
- Fixed a bug where when double-clicking a message in the Local Drafts folder, the default account was always used as the sender account instead of the account used for composing the message.
- Apple Mail, Eudora and Thunderbird importers will now correctly import an account's SMTP server.
- Fixed the ghost "Loading message..." status.
- Fixed a bug where a read message became marked as unread again.
- Fixed a bug that prevented a folder with special character in its name to be set as a Special Folder.

New Features:
- Eudora Import feature, which will import accounts, messages and address books from Eudora 6.2.x.
- Template feature. Templates allow you to use predefined text while composing a message or a quick reply. Templates also support embedded graphics and tokens like sender's information, date, subject and more).
- White List and Black List feature. A new Whitelist Sender and Blacklist Sender menu options are now located under the Message menu. If you have a sender who is continually having their messages placed in your Junk folder, you can white list their email address. This will prevent the Junk filter from processing their messages and they'll remain in your inbox regardless of the content of their message. Please note: a special interface will soon be available in an update that will allow you to manage your address database. The inverse of that feature is the Black List feature. Any future email sent by someone who is Black Listed will go straight to the Junk folder.
- Quick Reply. You can quickly reply to a message by pressing command-return.
- Message Redirection. You can redirect one or multiple message to another email address.
- Edit as new. You can open any message into a new message compose window.
- IMAP Idle. New messages notifications are pushed to OSM when supported by the IMAP server.
- The Dock icon now shows the total number of unread messages in the user's inboxes.
Enhancements:
- State of the Search menu is now saved and restored.
- Deferment now supports "Defer until date..."
- Delete Immediately can be triggered by clicking on the Delete toolbar button while holding down the option/alternate key.
- Signatures can now be reordered using drag & drop in the Preferences.

- Improved performance when moving messages between mailboxes (when IMAP server support IMAP UID Plus).

Search Key Commands and Notes:
- option-command-f = begin new mailbox search
- command-f = begin new message content search
- command-g = search for next occurrence
- shift-command-g = search for previous occurrence
- escape = end message content search
* If the content search is not excluded from the search criteria in the mailbox search, entering text into the mailbox search will also trigger the content search.
* When entering text in the message search bar, as long as you type text and don't press the enter key, the cursor will stay positioned at the end of the text you are entering. As soon as you press the enter key, the text you have entered so far will be selected.
* After you start the message search, as long as you don't click away from the message search bar, the search field will retain focus.

Enhancements:
- New Signatures Editor. Signatures can now utilize images, rich text and hyperlinks. The user can also now select a signature on-the-fly while composing a message.
- Improvements to the auto-filing suggestions. The auto-filer now suggests mailboxes recently used for storing similar messages based on sender and/or subject.
- Added Growl delay. Growl notification will not be sent until after the junk filter (and upcoming rules filter) has had a chance to process the incoming message. This should prevent users from getting notifications on processed mail, like spam.
